Phantom

“Phantom”, a 2013 thriller starring Ed Harris, David Duchovny, William Fichtner and Lance Hennriksen featured my model of a Russian Foxtrot submarine in a lead roll.

The film's director, Todd Robinson, was extremely generous with his time and knew exactly what he wanted. Stargate Studios provided all the Visual Effects for the film and it remains one of my favorite projects to have worked on. We were welcomed and encouraged by Mr. Robinson to participate in the shot design and were given tremendous freedom during the animation process in order to create the submarine as a lead character and not just a prop.
The task called for extreme close ups on a big screen and our team delivered with every frame.
